With the strategic corporate decision to develop all
products in 316 L stainless steel , Echtermann has not only completely reopened the market, but has also continued to focus on sustainability. By professionally processing the 316 L stainless steel products, Echtermann has developed a unique
surface structure that does not leave fingerprints: the FPR surface (Finger Print Resistant).
No brass and chrome
With the new solutions, Echtermann is the innovation leader in sustainability, design and cost-effectiveness. With this decision, we are saying goodbye to materials such as brass and chrome. The galvanic coating in chrome VI has been finally eliminated. Compared to brass and chrome, 316 L stainless steel is completely recyclable and can be returned 100 % to the value chain.
Not only under the heading of sustainability, but also the resulting environmental legislation, we have succeeded in consistently discontinuing the entire product range of brass chrome fittings and making the new products look as if they were made from one piece in the professional kitchens of this world.
